Youtube Channels that helped make my computer science college life bearable.
freshman year in a computer science degree gets really tough for most people with no knowledge before hand.
you face alot of maths classes and might have bad professors that don’t convey the information well enough, these youtube channels are the top youtube channels every computer science should know:
THE ORGANIC CHEMISTRY TUTOR
the organic chemistry tutor is really good for calculus concepts and a little bit of physics. He is awesome at giving you clear and concise examples for your math and science classes.
summary: great at laying foundation for math concepts.
PROFESSOR LEONARD
Professor Leonard is really good with calculus 3.
this is for the seniors in college struggling with calculus 3, simply watching his videos and taking notes will take you from a D to a B.
DR TREFOR BAZETT
Dr Trefor Bazett is really good for discrete mathematics, calculus and linear algebra.
He does really great supplemental lectures to watch on top of your actual professor’s lectures.
ABDUL BARI
Abdul Bari is the goat of computer science.
He is the one to go to for data structures and algorithms, he will literally take you from a 0 to a 100.
BRO CODE
Bro Code is the one to go to for java and python.
This guy literally made me get an A- at a sitting for my comp 1 and comp 2 classes that were mainly java.
He breaks it down and makes it so easy to understand.
NEETCODE
if you don’t know what leetcode is, don’t worry too much about it.
it is simply a website where you practice coding questions to advance in your technical skills and also help ace your technical interviews.
neetcode gives detailed leetcode explanations and solutions.
CRASH COURSE
crash course has everything you could ask for ranging from biology, physics , business etc.
if you’re having issues with operating systems - crash course is your possible solution.
DATABASES A2Z
as a computer science student, you will eventually have to learn how to handle a database, this youtube channel will teach you everything about databases from a-z
9. FIRE SHIP
fire ship covers tech tutorials and tech news to help you ship your app faster. if you’re struggling with assembly language, they also have a perfect tutorial on it.
FREECODECAMP
This is a youtube channel dedicated to all things programming,you can find almost every topic on this channel.
if you’re struggling with system design, this is the course to go to.
